Son La Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Dong appointed Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission

Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Nguyen Huu Dong delivers acceptance speech.

On the afternoon of June 28th, in Hanoi, the Central Internal Affairs Commission held a conference to implement the Politburo 's decision on personnel matters.

Member of the Politburo , Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, and Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Đình Trạc chaired the meeting.

According to Decision No. 1311-QDNS/TW dated June 20, 2024, of the Politburo, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Son La province, is relieved of his positions as: Member of the Executive Committee, Member of the Standing Committee, Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, and Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Son La province; and is transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.

At the conference, Phan Đình Trạc, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, on behalf of the Commission's leadership, congratulated Nguyễn Hữu Đông on his appointment by the Politburo to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.

Mr. Phan Dinh Trac expressed his hope that in his new position, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong would continue to utilize his abilities and experience, achieve even greater success, and strive together with the leadership team of the Central Internal Affairs Commission to excellently fulfill the tasks assigned by the Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong expressed his honor at being entrusted with this new responsibility.

He affirmed that in his new position, he will continue to cultivate revolutionary ethics, actively study and research theory, improve professional knowledge and skills, uphold the principles of Party building, maintain unity and solidarity, and work together with the leadership, officials, and staff of the Central Internal Affairs Commission to strive to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong expressed his hope to continue receiving the attention, assistance, leadership, and guidance of the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Central Internal Affairs Commission, and the support and assistance of central ministries, departments, and agencies; as well as the cooperation and support from leaders, officials, and staff within the Central Internal Affairs Commission to successfully fulfill his assigned tasks.
