On the afternoon of September 19th, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province held a press conference to provide information about the conference announcing the Binh Duong provincial planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, along with investment promotion activities.
At the meeting, the Chief of the Office of the People's Committee of Binh Duong province, Vo Anh Tuan, said that the event is expected to take place on September 26th. Binh Duong hopes that through these important events, it can mobilize maximum investment resources into the province.
According to Mr. Vo Anh Tuan, the province's plan is that by 2030, Binh Duong will be a leader in science, technology, and innovation, a modern industrial and service center; and its socio -economic infrastructure and urban system will be developed synchronously, modernly, intelligently, and sustainably according to the green growth model.
The average economic growth rate for the period 2021-2030 is projected to reach approximately 10% per year, with per capita GRDP reaching approximately US$15,800 in 2030; the economic structure in 2030 will be 64% for industry and construction, 28% for services, and 2% for agriculture, forestry, and fisheries; the digital economy will account for 30% of GRDP.
