On this occasion, the delegation from the Provincial Military Command visited and offered incense at the memorial monument for heroic martyrs at Hill 468, Nam Ngat village, Thanh Thuy commune, Vi Xuyen district. Hill 468 was the site of fierce battles during the war to protect the northern border, where many soldiers bravely sacrificed their lives, and thousands of martyrs who fell defending every inch of the borderland still lie buried on the battlefield.
