According to regulations from the Ministry of Education and Training, after receiving the admission results, all candidates who meet the admission requirements for their highest-priority registered choice must confirm their enrollment online through the common system.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training's general admissions plan, 5 PM on August 30th is the deadline. After this time, any candidate who has not confirmed their enrollment on the general system will be considered to have declined admission, and their first-round university admission results will be canceled.

Thus, with the above announcement, the Ministry of Education and Training has extended the deadline for confirming enrollment for candidates by an additional 3 days.

However, recently, the admissions process on the general system and at many universities has encountered numerous problems. Therefore, the Ministry of Education and Training has had to extend the virtual filtering period by 2 days, increasing the number of virtual filtering rounds from 6 to 10.

After the admission results were announced, some universities encountered further problems. Due to various reasons, there were many cases where candidates who passed were later found to have failed, and vice versa. Universities had to coordinate with the Ministry of Education and Training to handle these situations, which was quite challenging. Many candidates found themselves in a predicament, having actually been admitted to university A but having already confirmed their enrollment at university B.

In its most recent official document, dated August 26th, the Ministry of Education and Training reaffirmed that "the university and college admissions process for 2025 has progressed as planned, meeting requirements and ensuring the rights of candidates; the overall admissions system is operating stably."
