The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that, in the context of the ongoing and profound digital transformation, officials and employees under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs need to clearly understand that enhancing digital capacity, digital knowledge, and digital skills to accelerate the modernization of diplomacy is an objective task, a strategic choice, and a top priority in the current revolutionary period.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested all officials and employees under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to promptly implement the tasks assigned in Decision No. 1637/QD-BNG, and actively participate in training programs on digital transformation and digital technology. Party committees, governments at all levels, and heads of units should take the lead and set an example, promoting digital transformation within their respective units, considering this a crucial political task at this time.

The Deputy Prime Minister also requested that young officials, youth union members, and on-site IT teams serve as the core force to guide and support their colleagues in learning. Through this movement, all officials must acquire the skills and become proficient in applying digital transformation, mastering digital tools, and utilizing e-government and digital government software systems to effectively serve their work.

The e-Government project is being implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT). The project includes: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Electronic Information Portal; the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Document Management and Operations System; and the Ministry-level Data Sharing and Integration Platform (LGSP).

These are three key platforms within the e-Government development project at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, aimed at realizing the comprehensive digital transformation strategy of the diplomatic sector.

The commissioning of these three important systems marks a significant milestone, ushering in a new phase of development in the digital transformation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. These are crucial "digital links" that contribute to the formation of an e-government ecosystem within the Ministry, operating in real time, saving time, reducing procedures, increasing efficiency, enhancing operational capacity, and laying the groundwork for a modern, professional, and effective diplomatic model.
