The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development mobilized 300 tons of seeds and fertilizers for Bac Giang province.

On the morning of September 27, the People's Committee of Bac Giang province received more than 300 tons of seeds and fertilizers from businesses and associations in the agricultural sector, within the framework of the post-disaster production support program launched by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Specifically, in Bac Giang province, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Hoang Trung and Vice Chairman of Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee Le O Pich witnessed the handover of more than VND 1.77 billion in cash, 200 tons of fertilizer (sponsored by 2 enterprises) and 1.22 tons of vegetable seeds to the province.

A representative of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said that the amount of 1.77 billion VND was donated by 20 units, equivalent to 100 tons of potato seeds according to local reproduction needs.

Mr. Le O Pich, Vice Chairman of Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee, said that the locality suffered from floods and storm No. 3, causing damage of up to 5,600 billion VND, mostly in the agricultural sector. The province is currently quickly implementing measures to overcome and stabilize production.
