The document clearly stated that, through grasping information about the local situation regarding the compliance with legal regulations by fishermen regarding fishing ground disputes in the waters of Ca Mau province, which have been and are becoming very complicated and serious, causing casualties and property damage to fishermen, it is necessary to deploy measures to prevent and handle them.

Firstly, direct the provincial authorities to speed up the investigation, verification, and strict handling of subjects according to the law to promptly deter and stop violations.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has requested Ca Mai province to focus resources and strengthen patrolling, inspection and control in areas and fishing grounds where disputes have frequently occurred in recent times. Inspect and control fishing vessels and fisheries to ensure compliance with regulations on operating areas and permitted fishing gear.

At the same time, strengthen propaganda and education work and raise awareness for fishermen. Guide fishermen to organize fishing in groups and teams to promptly support each other, as well as guide measures to combat and denounce crimes when fishing at sea .
