(PLVN) - According to the draft Decree stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment , based on the merger of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, this Ministry will have 45 functions and tasks and 30 subordinate agencies.

(PLVN) - The Government has issued Decree No. 21/2025/ND-CP amending and supplementing Article 9 of Decree No. 26/2023/ND-CP on the Export Tariff Schedule, Preferential Import Tariff Schedule, List of Goods and absolute tax rates, mixed tax rates, and import taxes outside the tariff quota.

How will Trump's new tax policy affect Vietnam's tuna exports?

(PLVN) - In 2024, Vietnam's tuna industry achieved an impressive export turnover of 989 million USD, a 17% increase compared to 2023. Among tuna export markets, the US is the largest importer of Vietnamese tuna, accounting for over 39% of total export turnover. Therefore, businesses are very concerned about trade policies, especially the tariffs that the Trump administration may impose on countries with large trade deficits with the US, including Vietnam.

(PLVN) - Yesterday (February 10), the "Conference of the Government Standing Committee meeting with businesses on tasks and solutions to help private enterprises accelerate, break through, and contribute to the rapid and sustainable development of the country in the new era" took place in Hanoi under a special context.

(PLVN) - On the afternoon of February 7th, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province held a ceremony to award investment registration certificates to 14 foreign direct investment (FDI) and domestic investment projects; including 12 FDI projects with a total capital of over 680 million USD and 2 domestic projects with an investment capital of nearly 1,500 billion VND.
