Accompanying them were Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Duy Lam, representatives from the Vietnam Road Administration, and the Vietnam Expressway Administration. On the Dien Bien province side were Mr. Tran Quoc Cuong – Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Le Thanh Do – Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and leaders from several departments and agencies.
The delegation visited and offered incense at the shrine dedicated to General Vo Nguyen Giap in Muong Phang commune, Dien Bien Phu city.
The delegation from the Ministry of Transport, along with leaders of Dien Bien province, laid wreaths and offered incense at the General Vo Nguyen Giap Memorial Area in Muong Phang commune, Dien Bien Phu city; the Martyrs' Memorial Temple at the Dien Bien Phu battlefield; the A1 Martyrs' Cemetery; and the Doc Lap, Tong Khao, and Him Lam Martyrs' Cemeteries.
In a solemn atmosphere, delegates respectfully laid flowers and lit incense to express their profound gratitude for the immense contributions of General Vo Nguyen Giap and the heroic martyrs, the outstanding sons and daughters of the nation who bravely fought and sacrificed for the cause of liberation, for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, and for the happiness of the people.

Before the sacred spirit of General Vo Nguyen Giap and the heroic martyrs, with heartfelt gratitude, Minister of Transport Nguyen Van Thang and the transport sector, along with the leaders of Dien Bien province, pledged to live, fight, and study following the example of the great President Ho Chi Minh , upholding the heroic traditions of Dien Bien Phu, and continuing to strive together with the entire Party, army, and people to successfully implement the industrialization and modernization of the country, achieving the goal of a prosperous people, a strong nation, democracy, fairness, and civilization.
