Booking.com, the world's leading online travel platform, has announced the appointment of Branavan Aruljothi as Country Director for Vietnam. In his new role, Branavan will lead the strategy and drive business growth in Vietnam, while also overseeing the markets of Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar.
Mr. Branavan replaces Mr. Varun Grover, who previously held the leadership position in Vietnam. According to Booking.com, this decision further demonstrates the company's long-term commitment to "making it easier for people to experience the world" by connecting travelers with a diverse ecosystem of accommodations, experiences, and transportation services, based on advanced technology and close collaboration with local partners.
Having joined Booking.com more than a decade ago, Mr. Branavan is considered a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of the Southeast Asian market. He has held numerous management roles in the region, contributing to making Booking.com one of the most familiar online travel brands to consumers.

With his solid professional background, Mr. Branavan is expected to lead Booking.com in Vietnam into a new phase of development in the dynamic Mekong region.

Beyond his managerial experience, Mr. Branavan is a strong advocate of diversity and inclusion. He holds a master's degree in inclusive education and currently serves as the Chair of Booking.com's Comprehensive Welfare Committee in the Asia Pacific region.
