On the afternoon of August 13th, at the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT), 100 KOLs and students were among the first to experience wearing VR glasses, returning to the afternoon of September 2nd, 1945, to listen to President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence.
Previously, information about the exhibition "Returning to Sacred Moments" had generated a strong wave of interest among young people on social media.
Right from the launch event, many young people arrived early to experience "Returning to the Sacred Moment".
Young people were given the opportunity to "step through the technological gateway" and travel back in time to stand amidst the crowds of 1945, listening to President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence.
In this sacred moment, young people joined tens of thousands of citizens in chanting the oath to defend their country.
Ngo Duc Duy, a content creator, shared emotionally: “This project is very meaningful as it combines high technology with historical imagery, authentically recreating a momentous moment for the nation. The moment when President Ho Chi Minh's voice resonated moved me deeply. Before coming here, I saw many young people sharing this project, which is a very encouraging sign because historical values are being widely disseminated.”
Dang Thu Ha, a content creator, said she still feels a sense of excitement: “Initially, I was a little nervous when I stepped onto the stage for the experience, but when the images appeared, I felt like I was standing among my compatriots in Ba Dinh Square. Thanks to 3D technology, I could see all the surrounding scenery. When President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, I was truly moved. The moment everyone shouted 'We swear!', I wanted to shout loudly too.”
The exhibition "Returning to Sacred Moments" allows visitors to wear VR glasses, freely move around in a 3D virtual space, and interact through actions.
The entire setting of Ba Dinh Square in 1945 has been meticulously recreated, from the ceremonial platform and grandstands to the cheering and applauding crowds.
Sound, visuals, and emotions blend together, making the experience feel as if the listener is truly a part of history.
The images were designed and advised by a team of experienced artists, graphic designers, and sculptors.
After removing his VR glasses, Hai Trieu was overwhelmed as he was transported back in time to the sacred moment of autumn 1945, when President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence. This feeling of pride mixed with emotion intensified as the National Day celebration on September 2nd approached.
Many young people excitedly "checked in" with VR glasses during their first experience.
Trang Anh, one of the young people participating in the experience, expressed her desire to share and spread the word about this exhibition to her friends and family, so that everyone has the opportunity to relive a historical moment of the nation.
The exhibition "Returning to Sacred Moments" is open to the public free of charge from 8:00 AM on August 19th to 21st at the National Broadcasting Center, 58 Quan Su Street, and from August 28th to September 5th at the National Exhibition Center, Dong Hoi – Dong Anh, Hanoi .
