University of Economics celebrates 50 years of tradition.

On this occasion, the University of Economics organized a camp to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its establishment, including a series of activities; including the contest "My Class is Number 1" with 4 competitions: My Class is Wise - Knowledge Corridor Station; My Class is Strongest - Breakthrough Corridor Station; My Class is Talented Integration - Aspiration Corridor Station and My Class is Volunteer Shock - Nurturing Corridor Station.

In 2022, the University of Economics was recognized as a key, pioneering unit, contributing to the ranking of Hanoi National University in the 450-500 group in the world in the field of business and management research according to the QS World University Rankings. This is the first and only time a Vietnamese higher education institution has achieved this ranking in the above field.

In the 2023 assessment of Times Higher Education, the University of Economics contributed significantly to making Hanoi National University the first public university in Vietnam to be ranked 501-600 in the world in the field of business and economics.

In particular, in 2024, the school continued to make its mark when the field of economics and econometrics of Hanoi National University was ranked for the first time in the 451-500 group in the world according to QS World University Rankings by Subject. This is a testament to the school's continuous efforts in improving the quality of training and research, meeting international standards.
