The unique large lakes located between the mountain ranges and plains in the seven-mountain land of An Giang not only help people store water for farming but also exploit tourism, many tourists love it.

On September 9th, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Quoc, Deputy Director of the An Giang Provincial Department of Tourism, stated that the Seven Mountains region of An Giang has many large lakes with unique beauty, such as Ta Pa Lake, Soai So Lake, Soai Chek Lake (in Tri Ton commune) and Thanh Long Lake, Thuy Liem Lake, Ta Lot Lake, and Nui Dai Lake (in Nui Cam commune).

Local authorities conducted a tourism survey of these lakes and found significant potential for tourism development.

Some of these lakes have become famous and are visited by many young tourists who come to take記念 photos with their families and friends.

"These large lakes have tourism potential. We are proposing to the People's Committee of An Giang province to consider investing in additional transportation infrastructure to connect and develop tourism at these lakes."

"With convenient transportation links, the local authorities will encourage investors to develop suitable tourist destinations and entertainment venues to serve visitors," Mr. Quoc said.

"The lakes in Nui Cam commune are beautiful. Thanks to these lakes, I and the villagers have water to grow rice and vegetables during the dry season, when the sun is hot for a long time and water is scarce."

"If these lakes are properly exploited for tourism, the local people will also benefit, gaining additional income and stabilizing their family lives," shared Ms. Vo Thi Kim Hien, a resident of Nui Cam commune.
