To ensure traffic safety, the Traffic Police Department (PC08) of Ho Chi Minh City Police announced traffic adjustments on many central routes of Ho Chi Minh City as follows.

At the starting and finishing point of the marathon:

Starting location: Area in front of the Zoo on Le Duan Street (section from Dinh Tien Hoang to Nguyen Binh Khiem) and Nguyen Binh Khiem (section from Nguyen Thi Minh Khai to Nguyen Huu Canh), Saigon Ward.

From 0:00 on December 6 to 13:00 on December 7, Ho Chi Minh City banned all vehicles from Le Duan Street (from Dinh Tien Hoang to Nguyen Binh Khiem) and Nguyen Binh Khiem Street (from Nguyen Thi Minh Khai to Nguyen Huu Canh) to serve the race from the time of construction, organization of the race and clean up after the race ends.

In the case of people's houses inside Nguyen Binh Khiem street, the authorities still guide people to go home.

For people visiting the Zoo: Guide people to move to the gate on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai street.

Alternative route: To avoid the Le Duan section where the program is implemented, people go via Nguyen Thi Minh Khai to Xo Viet Nghe Tinh, or Nguyen Huu Canh to Ton Duc Thang.

Destination location: Empire City area, EC model home address, zone 2B, An Khanh ward (near Ba Son bridge).

Vo Van Kiet route (section from Cao Van Lau to Saigon river tunnel):

From 3:15 a.m. until the 42.195km distance is over on December 7, all 2-wheeled vehicles will be temporarily banned from the motorbike lane on Vo Van Kiet Street, from Cao Van Lau to the Saigon River Tunnel to serve the race (riverside direction from District 6 to the old District 1).

Alternative route: From Vo Van Kiet when going to Cao Van Lau, motorbikes turn left onto Cao Van Lau to enter Pham Dinh Ho, continue other routes into the city center.

On the route of the 8th Ho Chi Minh City International Marathon 2025:

Ho Chi Minh City limits vehicles on certain distance routes.

Alternative traffic route: Vehicles travel on the remaining road and follow the instructions of the authorities. Participants ensure traffic order and safety on the race route.

Route: Le Duan - turn left on Cong Xa Paris (the branch street between the City Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral) - go straight onto Dong Khoi Street - turn left on Ngo Duc Ke - turn right on Cong Truong Me Linh - turn left across the road to Ton Duc Thang - go straight onto Ba Son Bridge - turn right on Tran Bach Dang - turn right on N19 - turn right on N20 - turn right on Nguyen Thien Thanh - end at the finish line at Empire City.

For 10km distance: Time: 5am on December 7, starting location: area in front of the Zoo.
