The program to educate and rehabilitate young people serving sentences aims to contribute to reducing youth law violations and repeat offenses in Huong Khe district (Ha Tinh province).
On the morning of October 13th, the Huong Khe District Youth Union and the Huong Khe District Youth Federation, in coordination with the District Police, organized a program to educate, rehabilitate, and assist young people in reintegrating into the community, as well as young people serving criminal sentences in the community, in 2023. |
Representatives from the district police disseminated and publicized legal information, and guided people through the legal procedures related to expunging criminal records.
During the program, 39 young people serving criminal sentences or reintegrating into the community in Huong Khe district received general information about the local political , economic, cultural, and social situation. They also received information on the law, security and order, guidance on legal procedures related to expunging criminal records; information on vocational training and employment policies; and shared experiences in building economic development models.
This program aims to effectively educate, rehabilitate, and assist young people reintegrating into the community, especially those serving criminal sentences. Through this, it demonstrates the collaborative role of youth organizations and the police in supporting and motivating young people reintegrating into the community and those serving criminal sentences outside the community to strive and improve in their studies, work, production, and business.
To practically celebrate the traditional day of the Vietnam Youth Union (October 15th), the Huong Khe District Youth Union and the Huong Khe District Youth Federation organized and implemented many meaningful activities such as: commencing the construction of two "Red Scarf" houses, organizing a men's football tournament for affiliated Youth Unions in Huong Khe district, launching economic models, and installing QR codes at historical sites to promote cultural values...
