Cam Lo: 22/23 targets of the District Party Congress Resolution for the 2020-2025 term achieved and exceeded the plan

The Cam Lo District Party Executive Committee has just held a conference to evaluate the results of implementing the Resolution of the 16th District Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025 and announced the end of the District Party Committee's activities. In the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee, government and people of Cam Lo district have united, unified, determined to act, overcome difficulties, exploited potentials and advantages, mobilized resources to complete the goals, targets and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 16th District Party Congress. As a result, 22/23 targets were exceeded and achieved, 1 target was not achieved.

Of which, the average economic growth rate (in terms of production value) is 12.5%; the economic structure of agriculture, forestry and fishery is 19.7%; industry and construction is 41.7%; services are 38.6%. Total social investment capital is 3,954 billion VND. Grain output is 18,000 tons. The rate of trained workers is 85%; 100% of communes and towns have OCOP products, of which 38 products meet the standards of 3 stars or higher.

Average income per capita is 78.6 million VND. The poverty rate is 1.56%, no households are re-poor. The district has achieved advanced new rural standards; 6 communes have achieved model new rural standards, reaching 85.7%; villages and neighborhoods have achieved model new rural standards, urban areas at level 1 or higher, reaching 68.7%. The number of grassroots party organizations that have completed their tasks well or better is 90%, of which 17.92% have completed their tasks excellently. 601 new party members have been admitted, an average of more than 120 party members per year.

In addition, the Party Executive Committee has developed an action program, promptly issued 2 resolutions and 2 thematic conclusions to implement 4 key programs to concretize the resolution and achieve important results in various fields.

Speaking at the conference, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Ly Kieu Van commended and acknowledged the results achieved by the Party Committee, government and people of Cam Lo district in the past term.

Faced with the requirements and tasks in the new period when implementing a two-level local government, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee requested the district Party Committee to focus on maintaining political and ideological stability of cadres and civil servants, reorganizing cadres reasonably, ensuring the new apparatus operates effectively and efficiently.

The new Party Committee and Commune Government after the merger proactively assigned tasks immediately after coming into operation; focused on building a united and unified collective, first of all in the Party Committee, leadership and management collective. The team of cadres and Party members need to uphold organizational principles and strictly comply with the organization's assignment and mobilization.
