Cars and three-wheeled vehicles are prohibited from passing through Dong Chua Bridge.

Accordingly, on the morning of December 26th, the Dong Chua bridge at kilometer marker 0+150 on the DH1.BTM route (located in Tra Duong commune) connecting Tra Duong, Tra Dong, Tra Nu, and Tra Kot communes was severely damaged and no longer safe for vehicles to travel on.

According to a reporter from Quang Nam Newspaper on the afternoon of December 26th, authorities have installed barriers and signs prohibiting cars and three-wheeled vehicles from crossing the bridge. The ban will be in effect from December 26th, 2024 until repairs are completed.

The People's Committee of Bac Tra My district has directed the District's Economic and Infrastructure Department to conduct an inspection and develop a temporary remedial plan to ensure the safety of the people in the coming period.

The police in Bac Tra My district also conducted patrols, inspections, and dealt with cases of violations, including those intentionally crossing the bridge. The People's Committee of Tra Duong commune deployed forces to install barriers and temporarily reroute traffic to alternative routes.
