Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the People's Council of Quang Nam province requested the Provincial People's Committee to direct the review and clarify the responsibility of the People's Committee of Que Son district in not allocating enough capital to complete the project in accordance with the approved investment policy and the responsibility of the investor in investing in the unfinished project, which has lasted for many years.

According to the Standing Committee of the People's Council of Quang Nam province, it is necessary to continue investing to ensure the completion of the objectives of the Tra Dinh bridge project, to soon put the project into operation and use, to ensure safety and serve the travel of the people. Therefore, the Standing Committee of the People's Council of the province requested the Provincial People's Committee to study and implement it in accordance with legal regulations.

In particular, it is noted to direct a comprehensive assessment of the project since its implementation until now; clarify the actual value of the approach road items at both ends of the bridge and other related costs that need to be adjusted (including compensation costs for site clearance); determine the ability to balance the provincial budget, the commitment to balance the counterpart capital of Que Son district budget to implement the remaining part of the project to ensure the project is completed on schedule.

As reported by VTC News, in 2017, the Tra Dinh Bridge project invested by the Que Son District Investment and Construction Project Management Board was implemented with a total length of 990m (the main bridge is 143m long, the rest is the approach road on both sides of the bridge), 6m wide. The bridge crosses a branch of the Thu Bon River on the route connecting National Highway 1A from Que Phu Commune, Que Son District to Duy Thanh Commune, Duy Xuyen District.

The project is divided into 2 phases with a total estimated cost of more than 50 billion VND. The bridge construction cost nearly 40 billion VND in phase 1 and was completed and accepted in June 2020. Although the bridge has been completed, phase 2 of the project (building the access road) has not yet been implemented due to lack of funding.
