Apartment fire in 6-storey apartment building in Hanoi

According to witnesses, at around 1:15 a.m. the same day, they discovered a fire on the 3rd floor of a 6-story apartment building in D17 - Dang Xa Urban Area (Gia Lam, Hanoi ). At this time, the fire flared up and created a lot of black smoke, causing many residents to worry and run down to the 1st floor.

According to this person, the fire initially started in the altar area in the apartment and then spread to the wooden floor below.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Gia Lam District Police dispatched fire trucks and officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.

By 1:30 a.m. the same day, the fire was under control. Initial statistics showed that the incident caused no human casualties. Property damage was insignificant.

It is known that at the time of the fire, there were 5 people inside the apartment, including a couple and 3 children. The homeowner promptly evacuated his family and escaped the fire safely.

Gia Lam District Police are currently investigating and clarifying the cause of the fire.
