On the morning of December 21, 2021 , the Youth Union of the Department of Construction, in coordination with charitable organizations, donated medical supplies to support COVID-19 prevention and control efforts for the medical staff at the Provincial Center for Disease Control. Attendees included: Mr. Nong Tri Truyen – Deputy Director of the Center; Mr. Nong Duy Thiep – Head of the Planning and Operations Department; Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Giang – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Agencies and Enterprises Bloc; Mr. Thach Ngoc Son – Secretary of the Youth Union of the Department of Construction; representatives from charitable organizations and a group of experts from the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology ; representatives from the professional departments of the Center for Disease Control; and Youth Union members (the program was organized in compliance with COVID-19 prevention and control guidelines recommended by the Ministry of Health ).

The volunteer program aims to promote the spirit of mutual support and compassion, raise awareness, foster solidarity, and cultivate love for humanity among youth union members, while also promoting the pioneering and volunteer role of youth union members. It involves donating medical supplies to support the healthcare workforce at the Cao Bang Provincial Center for Disease Control to effectively carry out COVID-19 prevention and control work in the province. The Youth Union of the Department of Construction, in coordination with charitable organizations Power Capital Group and Ngoc Diep Investment Consulting Company, donated 4,000 sample transport tubes with a total value of 140 million VND to support testing at the Provincial Center for Disease Control. With the desire to encourage and support the frontline medical forces in the fight against the epidemic .

Mr. Nong Tri Truyen, Deputy Director of the Center for Disease Control, delivered a speech.

Mr. Nong Tri Truyen, Deputy Director of the Provincial Center for Disease Control, expressed his deep gratitude to the sponsoring unit, stating that these supports are extremely meaningful and timely, and also a great source of moral and material encouragement for the province's current Covid-19 prevention and control efforts.

Volunteer organizations and expert groups held a session to exchange experiences and provide technical advice and support to healthcare workers.

At the handover ceremony, the team of experts from the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology also provided technical advice and support to the health officials of the Provincial Center for Disease Control on COVID-19 prevention and control; and guided them on the procedures for preserving the culture tubes according to technical standards.
