The Department of Construction Youth Union organized the volunteer program "Charity meal to distribute free meals and give gifts to support poor patients in 2022"

Implement the Youth Union and Youth Movement Program in 2022; Towards Propagating the celebration of major holidays and important historical events in the fourth quarter of 2022.

October 14, 2022, The Youth Union of the Department of Construction organized a volunteer program with the theme "A meal of love, full of meaning, full of affection" and gave gifts to support poor patients at the Provincial General Hospital. The Youth Union of the Department of Construction gave 110 free meals to poor patients at the Provincial General Hospital. The delicious meals, ensuring nutrition for the patients were all planned and prepared to ensure food hygiene and safety. For patients who were being treated and had difficulty moving around, the members went to the departments and rooms to personally deliver warm meals to the patients.

In addition, the Youth Union presented 4 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND, to 4 poor patients currently being treated at the Oncology Department, the Department of Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the Department of Pediatrics. At the same time, the Youth Union also supported the fund for poor patients at the Provincial General Hospital with an amount of 2,000,000 VND.

This is a meaningful activity to promote the spirit of "mutual love" and the initiative of young people to support and help poor patients, contributing to encouraging patients to overcome difficulties, feel secure in their treatment and soon return to their families.

The Department of Construction Youth Union currently has a total of 38 youth union members. Since the beginning of 2022, the Youth Union has organized many volunteer activities "For community life"; coordinated with a number of units and enterprises to organize social security activities in border areas and remote areas such as: giving Tet gifts to poor households and Agent Orange victims; supporting rice for the poor; giving funding to support housing construction for poor families, with a total value of 142 million VND.
