This is Chi Pu's debut product in China, almost a year after achieving 6th place in the winning lineup of the 2023 "Sisters Riding the Waves" competition. The song, composed by Hua Kim Tuyen, drew inspiration from R&B music of the 2000s, reminiscent of hits by Britney Spears, Beyonce, and Christina Aguilera from that era.

The music video for "Finding You" tells a love story set on a fateful ship. Chi Pu and the male lead meet and fall in love in just one day. The ship cannot reach its destination, so the girl uses a time-reversing watch to reach him, affirming that their love hasn't ended.

The music video has an open ending, conveying the message to trust your feelings and not lose hope in love. Chi Pu believes that love and passion are similar; you need to strive to achieve what you desire, otherwise, it will not yield results.

When recording the Chinese version in China, Chi Pu worked directly with a vocal producer to correct her pronunciation. She was very nervous, even though she had sung in Chinese before and worked in China.

Besides participating in the TV series "Sisters Riding the Waves ," Chi Pu has appeared in many game shows and events in China and is very popular on the social media platform Weibo. Many Chinese fans have even traveled to Vietnam to support the singer. She has also performed on stage with Huang Xiaoming, Zhang Dongliang, and others.
