On the evening of March 16, the People's Committee of Da Nang City officially opened the 2025 Ngu Hanh Son Quan The Am Festival.
In his opening speech, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee, affirmed that this festival is one of the festivals with valuable spiritual significance for the city's people.

Entering the third year of being held on a city scale, the Ngu Hanh Son Quan The Am Festival has demonstrated the crystallization of the values of Buddhist culture and the special cultural heritage of Ngu Hanh Son, clearly expressing the harmonious combination between Buddhism and the nation, and the nation and Buddhism.
"The festival is an attractive destination not only for domestic tourists but also an opportunity for international tourists to experience and learn about the spiritual values imbued with the history and culture of Vietnamese Buddhism; cultural exchange of peoples around the world, especially countries in the Asia- Pacific region" - Mr. Tran Chi Cuong affirmed.

According to the Organizing Committee of the 2025 Quan The Am Ngu Hanh Son Festival, the festival will take place from March 16 to 19 (February 17 to 20 of the Lunar calendar). On March 16, the following activities will take place: Opening ceremony of the festival; opening ceremony of the Thuong Nguyen - Thuong Phuc sutra; exhibition of fine arts, paintings, calligraphy and launching of the Diep Am Quan The Am Festival Special Edition; opening of folk cultural activities, street art performances; incense offering ceremony in memory of Princess Huyen Tran; Spring worship ceremony to pray for national peace and prosperity, flower car parade to welcome the festival; art program to welcome the festival with the theme "Shining jade lotus platform"...
On March 17, there will be activities such as: Village flag festival, mixed stilt walking competition; discussion "The influence of Buddhism in Ma Nhai documentary heritage at Ngu Hanh Son scenic spot"; folk art performances; flower float parade to welcome the festival; performing the Quan Am Initiation Ceremony;...
Mr. Nguyen Hoa, Chairman of Ngu Hanh Son District People's Committee, performed the drum beating ceremony to open the festival.
The 2025 Ngu Hanh Son Quan The Am Festival is a major cultural and spiritual event for the city's people.
At 7am on March 18, the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara's birthday ceremony will take place. This is the official ceremony of the Festival, attracting tens of thousands of Buddhists and people to participate with the desire to spread the message of love, turn their hearts to Avalokiteshvara, and pray for the country to always be peaceful and prosperous, and for the people to be happy and peaceful.
In addition, on March 18, there will be a traditional boat racing festival, Vietnamese vegetarian cuisine space, kite art performance, art program, Zen lantern walking...
In particular, this year the festival has two meaningful activities: the Peace Walk Program with more than 300 representatives of city agencies and organizations and foreign consulates in Da Nang participating, and the discussion "The influence of Buddhism in Ma Nhai documentary heritage at Ngu Hanh Son".
