With only about a week left until the official start of the Thầy Thím Shrine Festival, the number of visitors to Thầy Thím Shrine, the Ngãnh Tam Tân beach area, and tourism service businesses has already begun to increase sharply in recent days.
In light of this situation, the Tan Hai Commune Police identified their primary task as maintaining security and order, ensuring the safety of residents and tourists.
With a proactive and responsible spirit, the police force implemented the plan early on, following the principle of "avoiding being caught off guard or surprised."

According to the plan, the commune police will deploy forces to be on duty 24/7 at key areas such as the main gate of the historical site, the roads leading to the Thầy Thím Shrine, parking lots, service and trading areas, and places where large crowds usually gather.
Mobile patrol teams have been reinforced, conducting regular inspections and monitoring to promptly detect and prevent acts that disrupt public order and security, such as theft, pickpocketing, soliciting, price gouging, or taking advantage of crowds to commit illegal acts.
Simultaneously, efforts to ensure traffic order were prioritized. The commune police, in coordination with local security forces, youth union members, and monument guards, organized traffic flow management and guidance to minimize congestion, especially during peak hours.
Cases of illegal parking, encroachment on sidewalks and roads, or unauthorized parking operations will be subject to warnings and strict penalties.

Another focus is ensuring civilized trade practices and protecting the rights of tourists. The commune police, in coordination with relevant agencies, inspect and remind accommodation establishments, shops, service kiosks, and seafood vendors to publicly display prices, sell at the correct price and quality, and prevent price gouging.
Food establishments are required to strictly adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring that their food sources, kitchens, and processing procedures meet standards to avoid affecting the health of tourists.
Businesses providing services in the Tam Tan area have been encouraged to sign commitments not to encroach on beach space, not to litter indiscriminately, and not to solicit customers aggressively. The commune police regularly coordinate with environmental forces to organize cleaning, garbage collection, and maintaining a clean and beautiful landscape, creating a pleasant image for tourists to visit and relax.
Along with ensuring security and order, the Tan Hai Commune Police also intensified propaganda efforts to raise awareness among residents and tourists about protecting their personal property; and promptly notified the authorities when suspicious signs were detected.
Support and guidance points for visitors are strategically placed in the central area, contributing to a safe and friendly atmosphere for festival attendees.
The Dinh Thầy Thím Festival holds historical and cultural significance, commemorating the merits of our ancestors over the past 130 years; among them, the figure of Thầy Thím.
According to legend, the Taoist couple, known locally as Master and Mistress, made many great contributions to helping the poor by providing medicine, building boats for fishermen, and reclaiming farmland.
The Dinh Thầy Thím cultural and tourism festival was included in the list of National Intangible Cultural Heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2022.
The proactive and timely implementation of coordinated measures by the Tan Hai Commune Police not only contributed to protecting security and order for the Dinh Thay Thim Festival, but also clearly demonstrated their sense of responsibility towards the sustainable development of local tourism.
This is a crucial factor contributing to building the image of Tan Hai - Lam Dong as a safe, friendly, and culturally rich destination, so that each festival season is not only a pilgrimage but also a memorable experience for tourists from near and far.
