Chairman Do Van Chien joins in the National Great Unity Day in Hung Yen

Member of the Politburo , Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien attended and shared the joy of the Great Solidarity Festival with people in Dinh Cao residential area (Hung Yen).

Also attending were Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghia, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Duc Phong, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Provincial Military Command, leaders of departments, branches and leaders of Phu Cu district and people of Dinh Cao residential area, Dinh Cao commune, Phu Cu district, Hung Yen province.

Dinh Cao village is the central village of the commune, with 1,005 households and 3,547 people. In recent times, with the determination of the entire political system, the efforts of cadres, party members and people, Dinh Cao village has achieved encouraging results, the socio -economic situation always meets and exceeds the set plan.

Political security and social order and safety are maintained; the material and spiritual life of local people is constantly improved; many cultural institutions are invested in and built; the emulation movement to build new rural areas receives high consensus among the people.

In recent times, under the direction of the Party Cell, the management and operation of the Village Leadership Board, the Front Working Committee has closely coordinated with member organizations to propagate and mobilize people to unite, unify, and help each other to develop the economy, reduce poverty sustainably, and boldly transform the structure of crops and livestock with economic value and high income.

In 2024, the village still has 5 poor households, accounting for 0.20%; 15 near-poor households, accounting for 1.19%; the residential area has 975 households achieving the title of "Cultural Family", reaching over 97%; 18 families are recognized with the title of "Exemplary grandparents and parents, filial children, and filial grandchildren" at all levels.

Up to now, in the residential area, there have been over 30 economic development models, including over 20 business and service models; there are 11 models of gardens, ponds, barns, and fruit tree conversion farms with income of hundreds of millions of VND/year.

The Village Front Committee and mass organizations actively propagated and mobilized people to donate over 1,000 square meters of land to expand rural and intra-field roads; propagated and mobilized people to build 3.4 km of electric lines to light up residential areas. Up to now, the village and intra-field road system has been upgraded, renovated and newly built to create favorable conditions for people to travel.

Over 80% of households in the village classify and treat organic waste at home. In 2024, 50 households were mobilized to build new houses and 40 households were mobilized to convert, achieving the assigned plan. The Village Front Committee coordinated with branches and organizations to actively mobilize people from all walks of life to effectively implement the campaign to build "5 no, 3 clean" families and the "Clean house, clean alley" model, launched by the Women's Union.

Promoting the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source" and "Mutual love and support", every year, the village organizes visits and presents gifts to families of policy beneficiaries, people with meritorious services, war invalids, sick soldiers, families of martyrs, poor households, disabled households, and households in difficult circumstances on the occasion of holidays and Tet.

In addition, the village also propagated and mobilized the people and the children of the homeland living and working in all regions of the country to support over 100 million VND to build local welfare works, contributing to improving the quality of criteria, striving to build a model new rural residential area...

At the Festival, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien and delegates reviewed the 94-year tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; listened to reports on the results of implementing campaigns, patriotic emulation movements and local military and defense tasks in 2024, and directions for 2025.
