On November 12, leaders of Quang Nam province came to celebrate and attend the National Great Unity Day at residential areas in the province.
Accordingly, Mr. Le Tri Thanh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province attended the National Great Unity Day at Pa Ong residential area, Ca Dy commune, Nam Giang district.
Also attending the festival were Mr. Le Van Huong, Secretary of Nam Giang District Party Committee, representatives of the People's Committee, departments and offices of the district, Ca Dy commune and representatives of the Lao Front for National Construction Committee of Sekong province, Dac Chung district, Sekong province.
Accordingly, Pa Ong village is located about 2km from the administrative center of Ca Dy commune. The village has 10 solidarity groups, 295 households, 1,231 people, of which 289 are ethnic minority households, the Co Tu ethnic group accounts for 98%. The village has 38 party members, 17 policy households, and people with revolutionary contributions. People are active in raising livestock and poultry with a total herd of nearly 650 livestock and more than 4,700 poultry; actively participating in developing the forest economy , in which they manage more than 1,589 hectares of forest.
Thanks to the care for economic development, people's lives have been constantly improved, the poverty rate has decreased (55 poor households less than in 2023), now the poverty rate is 50.6%. In 2024, through assessment, the residential area has 228 households achieving cultural family status, accounting for 77.2%. The village has 100% of children going to school at the right age...
Speaking at the festival, Mr. Le Tri Thanh praised the results and solidarity of the villagers. At the same time, he asked the leaders of Nam Giang district and Ca Dy commune to continue to pay attention and support so that the people's lives can continue to develop.

On this occasion, Mr. Le Tri Thanh donated 120 million VND to build 2 Great Solidarity houses for 2 poor households; donated 20 gifts, each worth 1 million VND to poor households and policy families; donated 15 gifts, each worth 3 million VND to 15 prestigious people in difficult circumstances in Nam Giang district.
In Dong Giang district, Quang Nam province, Mr. Ho Quang Buu, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu attended the National Great Unity Day in A Xo village, Ma Cooih commune.
Reporting at the Festival, Mr. A Rat Voi, Head of A Xơ village, said that A Xơ village was established on the basis of merging two villages, A Xơ and A Bông, with a total natural area of 4,775.8 hectares. Located right in the center of the commune, the village has 223 households with 757 people. Of which, there are 35 households under the policy, 7 martyrs. The average income is 35 million VND/person/year. Up to now, A Xơ village has achieved 7/10 criteria for building a model new rural residential area.
Implementing the 5 contents of the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", people participate in economic development, actively help each other to sustainably reduce poverty, improve living standards, and encourage legitimate enrichment.
Speaking at the festival, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu expressed his joy and excitement at the significant changes in A Xơ village, especially in promoting production development and solidarity to help each other escape poverty. The Provincial People's Committee leaders noted that A Xơ village has many potentials and strengths, especially in developing Dong Giang Heaven Gate eco-tourism and the A Rieu chili brand.
On this occasion, Mr. Ho Quang Buu presented 2 Great Solidarity houses to 2 poor households with a cost of 120 million VND.
