Attending the event were National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, representatives of National Assembly committees, central ministries and agencies, leaders of Binh Dinh and Binh Duong provinces, and businesses.

Regarding the project at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Lang, General Director of Becamex Binh Dinh JSC, stated that the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh industrial, urban, and service complex was started in September 2020 with a scale of 1,374 hectares and a total registered investment capital of over 5,600 billion VND.
The project has a total planned area of 1,374 hectares with a total investment of over 7,500 billion VND, located in subdivision 7 of the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, including 1,000 hectares for industrial zones and 374 hectares for resettlement, residential, commercial and service areas.
Phase 1 of the project has been completed, covering a total area of over 230 hectares, with planning ensuring environmental standards. Additionally, the project includes the construction of housing for workers, capable of accommodating approximately 2,500 people.
The General Director of Becamex Binh Dinh added that after more than three years since its commencement, the industrial park has attracted four FDI projects from the Federal Republic of Germany, Hong Kong (China), South Korea, and the Netherlands, with a total area of 53 hectares and a total investment of 96 million USD, and has put into use 90 hectares of residential land to serve the resettlement and living needs of the local people.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha said that developing an industrial-urban-service ecosystem is a successful model aimed at sustainable development, balancing the needs of industrial development with the provision of social services including housing and utility facilities.
With an area of 1,000 hectares, Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh can fully apply this model with rational spatial planning, effectively resolving conflicts, especially regarding the environment.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha expressed his wish that Becamex and VSIP should focus on developing green industrial parks, ecological and smart industrial parks; places for research and application of science and technology, innovation, circular economy models, knowledge-based economies, and low-emission industrial parks.
The Deputy Prime Minister suggested that Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh and Binh Dinh province should persistently propose ways to facilitate energy transition. Green energy, clean energy, and renewable energy are attractive points to attract investors in the future.
“I suggest that Binh Dinh continue to prioritize administrative reform, improve the investment environment, support the business community, and especially promptly implement the approved provincial planning to promote and introduce it to businesses. This is the best way to attract business investment,” Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha said.

Introducing the province's potential, Chairman of the Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan said that Binh Dinh possesses many infrastructure conditions such as seaports, airports, and five national highways passing through it, which are favorable for industrial development. Among these, the Becamex project is a large-scale project that creates momentum, and in the past, the locality has coordinated with the investor to quickly resolve administrative procedures and complete land clearance.
According to Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Binh Dinh is investing in, upgrading, and improving its socio-economic infrastructure to be ready to welcome investors, especially the infrastructure of economic zones and industrial parks with a total area of 15,300 hectares and the infrastructure of industrial clusters with a total area of 2,940 hectares.
The Chairman of Binh Dinh province requested the investor to urgently mobilize resources and develop optimal solutions to accelerate the investment and construction progress of phase 2 of the project; strengthen investment promotion and attraction efforts, quickly fill the remaining areas and zones of the industrial park; prioritize the early construction and completion of the workers' housing area, and maximize the use of local labor...
On the provincial side, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan requested the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board to coordinate with relevant units and the People's Committee of Van Canh district to continue creating the most favorable conditions for investors, monitoring and promptly resolving difficulties and obstacles faced by investors during the investment, construction and operation process; and creating favorable conditions for secondary investors to come to the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park...

At the inauguration ceremony, a cooperation agreement was signed between Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh and its partners, including BW Industrial Development Joint Stock Company (investing $25 million), Logiform Co., Ltd. (investing $10 million), King Honor Paper Products Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (investing $6 million), and Kung Jui Mechanical Co., Ltd. (investing $8 million).
