To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), as part of the series of activities themed "The Colors of Ho Chi Minh City," Ho Chi Minh City invested in staging many performances showcasing the significance and magnitude of the victory of the Ho Chi Minh Campaign through music , especially with connections to artists from Hue and Can Tho cities.

"The Glorious Landscape of Vietnam," featuring over 2,000 actors, singers, extras, armed forces personnel, and police officers, created a proud portrayal of Ho Chi Minh City's journey in building a stronger and more prosperous nation. The program took place on April 30th at the commemorative stage (Pasteur - Le Duan intersection, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City). The program was organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Organizing Committee for Major Holidays in collaboration with the Department of Performing Arts, the Ministry of National Defense Ceremonial Band, and the Ministry of Public Security's Military Band. The program is an epic tale of indomitable heroism retold through music, featuring timeless songs that honor the values of the liberation army soldiers and their sacrifices for the independence, peace , and prosperity of the entire nation. This glorious achievement has created a heroic spirit, inspiring the military and people of Ho Chi Minh City to consistently achieve breakthroughs in labor, production, and learning in the process of national development.
The program included a drum performance titled "Liberation of the South - A Nation of Joy" by the armed forces of the Ministry of Public Security. This performance embodied the spirit of April 30, 1975 - the day the door to peace and national reunification opened. The nation sang the triumphant song of a heroic and righteous people. The song "Spring in Ho Chi Minh City" was newly arranged, reflecting the spirit of Ho Chi Minh City after 50 years of liberation of the South and national reunification, showing how much it has changed and developed strongly, becoming a dynamic, creative, and modern city.
The program also includes songs such as "Continuing the Story of Peace"; a medley of "The Country's Complete Joy - Joining Hands"... with the participation of artists: People's Artist Ta Minh Tam, People's Artist Quoc Hung, Meritorious Teacher Manh Dung, Meritorious Artist Pham Khanh Ngoc, Meritorious Artist Phi Dieu, Le Thien, Thuy Lien, Thanh Dau, Cong Ninh, Hanh Thuy, Lam Tuyen, Tuyet Thu, Quynh Huong and singers Vo Ha Tram, Dong Hung, Phuong My Chi, rapper Double2T, Thuy Trinh, Thanh Nguyen, Cao Cong Nghia, Truc Lai, Thanh Tam, Minh Sang, Dang Quan, Leo Minh Tuan...

At the Ngo Duc Ke - Nguyen Hue stage, on the evenings of April 27th and 28th at 7:30 PM, a Q&A session with the cast and crew of the film "Underground Tunnels: The Sun in the Darkness," directed by Bui Thac Chuyen, will take place.
