The Harmony of Faith and Aspiration
The art program "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" is an important political-cultural event of the country, honoring the 80-year journey of formation and development of Vietnam.
Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung emphasized: The Vietnamese people have a tradition of solidarity; ardent patriotism, bravery, resilience, and indomitability in fighting foreign invaders; diligence and creativity in working and building the country, having overcome countless difficulties and challenges with the eternal aspiration to bring the Fatherland to new heights. When the Communist Party of Vietnam stepped onto the political stage, it was the people with Lac Hong blood who were deeply aware of their great responsibility to the Fatherland and the times and made glorious miracles, winning independence and freedom for the country.
History has recorded that 80 years ago, when the heroic song “Tien Quan Ca” resounded, the country entered the era of independence. From that sacred sound, the entire Vietnamese nation under the leadership of the glorious Party wrote a great epic with a full range of emotions - heroic and tragic, hardship and glory, aspiration and belief in a bright future.

Minister Nguyen Van Hung affirmed that over the past 80 years, culture and art have accompanied the nation, creating a source of nourishment for the soul, strength, spirit and will of Vietnam. Today's program not only performed musical works and dances, echoing profound verses, but also expressed deep gratitude to the generations who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland - "The resistance has won the country back for life/The shadow of the country seems like the shadow of my child" as the lyrics in the song "Mother loves child."
Music is a magical bridge, where the love of a mother is immense and protective, where the "Aspirations of Youth", the passionate and burning love of couples, blends in the sacred and immortal love of the Fatherland. When the music plays, everyone will come together to join hands in solidarity to build an increasingly powerful, prosperous, free and happy country...
80 years of Journey of Independence-Freedom-Happiness
The program "80 Years of Independence-Freedom-Happiness Journey" consists of 3 chapters, elaborately staged, on a grand scale with the participation of nearly 3,000 professional and non-professional artists. Each chapter is a piece in the national epic - a journey carved with blood, will and steadfast belief. It is an immortal epic, honoring the generations of ancestors who fell to build the sacred foundation for an independent, unified and eternal Vietnam.
Chapter I is "The Road to Independence - Reunification," recreating the heroic history of the nation from the long night of slavery to the day Uncle Ho read the Declaration of Independence on September 2, 1945, the Dien Bien Phu Victory on May 7, 1954 and the Great Spring Victory on April 30, 1975, unifying the country. The symphony "My Fatherland" with the combination of symphony and folk orchestras, along with dancers, opens a grand choral picture of love for the homeland. The medley "Volunteering - Praising the Fatherland" continues the emotional flow, evoking the spirit of dedication and the ideal of living for the Fatherland.
The scene "Long Night of Slavery" and the image of young Nguyen Ai Quoc standing before the pain of the nation are emotional highlights. The works "Footprints Ahead," "The Internationale," "Together We Go Red Soldiers," and "Vietnamese Soldiers" successively recreate the revolutionary movements with heroic spirit spreading throughout the country.
The August Revolution scene was successful, with the highlight being the moment President Ho Chi Minh read the "Declaration of Independence" on September 2, 1945, touching the hearts of millions of Vietnamese people. The musical works "Hanoi People", "Lo River", "Dien Bien Victory", "Liberation of the South", "The Country Full of Joy" ... contributed to creating a symphony of victory, the joy of independence and national reunification.

Chapter II, titled "Aspiration for the Fatherland", is a journey of innovation, development and integration with artistic images and video clips depicting the unified and joyful atmosphere of the nation after 1975.
The song "Em di giu bien vang" resonates in the space of contemporary folk music combined with "Hat ve cay lua hom nay"; "Khat au tuoi tre" affirms the pioneering spirit and the desire to reach out of today's generation. The work "Welcome to Vietnam" is like an invitation to international friends to a friendly and hospitable Vietnam. Along with the lighting effects on stage, dance and LED projection... bring a vivid picture of a Vietnam that is innovative, integrated and full of aspirations...
Chapter III with the theme "My Fatherland, never so beautiful" has a strong contemporary tone with works connecting the past - present - future, spreading the message of consensus, national unity and Vietnam's aspiration to reach far...

It can be said that "80 years of Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" is not only a music night, but also a journey back in time, paying tribute to the 80 years of arduous but proud history of the Vietnamese people./.
