Candidates for the 2024 high school graduation exam
On the afternoon of July 19th, the Admissions Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education announced the minimum admission scores for undergraduate programs based on the 2024 high school graduation exam results.
According to Master Le Phan Quoc, Deputy Head of the Training Department of the school, based on the Ministry of Education and Training's minimum entrance requirements for teacher training programs and the admission situation for these programs, the school decided to increase the minimum admission score for 10 programs by 1.5 points compared to last year. Among the programs with increased minimum admission scores this year, 9 belong to the teacher training sector.
Notably, three majors have admission scores as high as 24 points: mathematics education, English education, and literature education. Compared to the general minimum admission score set by the Ministry of Education and Training, these majors at the university have scores 5 points higher.

This afternoon, the Ministry of Education and Training issued an official decision on the minimum quality assurance threshold for admission, also known as the floor score, to health science and teacher training (pedagogy) fields.
Specifically, for teacher training programs, the minimum admission score for university-level programs is 19. For physical education, sports training, music pedagogy, and fine arts pedagogy, the minimum admission score is 18 for the combination of three cultural subjects; other combinations follow the current admission regulations. The minimum admission score for early childhood education programs at the college level is 17 for the combination of three cultural subjects; other combinations follow the current admission regulations.
