Opportunity to welcome New Year's Eve on the train with many unique experiences

The railway organizes two "Spring Trains" departing from Hanoi and Saigon stations, traveling through New Year's Eve with many activities bringing special experiences to passengers.

Vietnam Railways Corporation said it will organize two trains named "Spring Train" with routes from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City and vice versa, meeting the travel needs during Tet, especially the need to experience welcoming the New Year's Eve (December 29) on the train of passengers.

Specifically, train SE1 departs from Hanoi station at 10:10 p.m. on January 28, 2025 and train SE4 departs from Saigon station at 7:30 p.m. on January 28, 2025.

On trains SE1 and SE4, the railway has arranged two community carriages (one community carriage per train) with unique, specially designed features. The outside of the carriages are painted with paintings related to traditional cultural activities during Tet such as flower markets, calligraphy, etc.

The interior of the train car is designed with peach and apricot blossoms, symbolizing Tet in the North and South, and is a check-in point on the train. These two community cars are also where community cultural activities take place throughout the journey.

Passengers with tickets on the "Spring Train" will be able to participate in many interesting and exciting experiences throughout the journey.

At the New Year's Eve, passengers will participate in the countdown program, dessert party on the train, participate in lucky draw with many attractive gifts from the railway and sponsors; participate in folk games; enjoy typical Tet dishes...

In particular, passengers will have the opportunity to participate in a "mobile" creative camp on the train with artists from all three regions of the North - Central - South, have the opportunity to receive portrait drawings, participate in clay modeling, and draw with artists on the first day of the new year...

At Hanoi station, passengers can visit an exhibition by a group of 40 Vietnamese artists; at Saigon station, they can participate in a workshop on the second day of Tet...
