Bac Ninh General Social Protection Facility is a public service unit under the Department of Health; it has the function of receiving, managing, caring for, nurturing, educating , and providing vocational training for sponsored subjects, emergency subjects, etc.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the facility will have 64 hearing-impaired children (aged 7-16), divided into 5 classes according to age and cognitive level. They will study under a specialized education program taught in sign language. In addition, 14 HIV-infected orphans will be given the opportunity to study at age-appropriate public schools according to the program of the Ministry of Education and Training .

In addition, the Center provides vocational training suitable to the abilities of disabled children such as: hairpin making, bag sewing, bamboo weaving, electricity, etc. Thereby helping them develop labor skills and career orientation. In recent years, the Center has coordinated with the Industrial Technical College (Bac Ninh) to organize short-term industrial sewing training courses for 12 children. Since the beginning of the year, 3 children have been given new jobs and integrated into the community.

In the 2025-2026 school year, the unit will organize 6 classes. It is expected to open 1 more short-term industrial sewing class for 30 children.
At the ceremony, joining in the bustling, joyful atmosphere of the National Day of Taking Children to School, the children watched the live broadcast of the Opening Ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year, combined with the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training).
