According to Nguyen Thi Thuc Uyen (22 years old, Ho Chi Minh City), the tourist who posted the video, this section of road is located on Xuan Thuy Street, also known as the "long slope".
"Tourists visiting Mui Ne can ask the locals about the 'long slope,' and everyone will enthusiastically point it out," Uyen said.
The video was filmed on July 10th. According to Uyen, she didn't know about the "legendary slope" before the trip. Luckily, her travel companion knew about the place, and when they were almost there, her friend suggested Uyen turn on her camera and start filming.
"Previously, whenever I wanted a change of scenery and to enjoy the sea view, I would drive from Ho Chi Minh City to Vung Tau. Now, with the convenient highway, it only takes about 3 hours by car to get to Mui Ne."
"The coastal road here is beautiful, with blue water, white sand, delicious food, and reasonable prices," Uyen said.
Uyen's "healing" trip took place in one day. At 10 am, the female tourist traveled from Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Ne and returned from Mui Ne to Ho Chi Minh City at 6:30 pm.
"I'll be back in Mui Ne soon and spend more time exploring this coastal area," Uyen said.
The "Long Slope" has been photographed and shared by many tourists on social media platform TikTok. It's nicknamed the "sacred slope" because it offers stunning views of both sunrise and sunset.
