On June 26th, the police in Tra Tan commune (Bac Tra My district, Quang Nam province ) announced that they had assisted a foreign tourist in reuniting with their relatives after getting lost while sightseeing on a motorbike in Hoi An.

At around 6:30 this morning, the police in Tra Tan commune noticed a foreigner exhibiting suspicious behavior in the area and proactively approached him.

Upon verification, it was determined that the person's name is Kyucheol (48 years old, South Korean nationality) and he came to Vietnam for tourism . While sightseeing by motorbike, this tourist got lost. He did not have any identification documents, could not remember his accommodation address, had no way to contact his family, and could not speak Vietnamese.

The police in Tra Tan commune provided emotional support, food, and took Kyucheol to the police station to rest while assisting in the search for his relatives.

After a period of verification, the Tra Tan commune police identified the tourist's whereabouts and relatives, and contacted the family to come and pick them up.

According to Kyucheol's relatives, on June 22nd, he, along with his mother and sister, went sightseeing in Da Nang .

On June 24th, the family visited Hoi An. Around 4 PM that day, Kyucheol rented a motorbike at the hotel to explore Hoi An and got lost.

At the Tra Tan Commune Police Station, the male tourist's relatives expressed their gratitude and were deeply moved and appreciative of the dedication and responsibility of the commune police force.
