Last night, August 1, as part of the Ngoc Linh ginseng festival, the People's Committee of Nam Tra My district announced the district's new logo - an artwork selected through a local logo design contest.
According to Mr. Nguyen The Phuoc - Vice Chairman of Nam Tra My District People's Committee, after a period of objective selection and evaluation of each logo design that is comprehensive and representative of the economic, political , cultural situation... of Nam Tra My, the organizing committee decided to award the first prize to author Vo Duy Hiep (Thua Thien Hue). This work was chosen as the new logo of Nam Tra My district.
Along with that, the People's Committee of Nam Tra My district awarded consolation prizes to 3 authors including Hoang Thi Thu Thao (Thang Binh district), Nguyen Hoang Nam ( Ho Chi Minh City) and Ly Anh Tuan (Ho Chi Minh City), with a total prize value of 70 million VND.
Previously, after many months of organizing the contest, the Organizing Committee received a total of 90 logos from 39 authors inside and outside the district. After the preliminary round, the Jury selected 20 logos to continue judging the final round and ranking the prizes.
