Vivid impressions
Upon entering Building A of the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi ), visitors are immediately captivated by the central stage. Here, artists from the Vietnam National Drama Theatre, the Vietnam Circus Federation, the National Traditional Arts Theatre, and others present spectacular performances, ranging from "Thi Mau Goes to the Pagoda," excerpts from Cai Luong, Cheo, Tuong, Quan Ho, and circus acts. The lively atmosphere of the performances delights the audience.
"I was very surprised to be able to enjoy traditional art performances right at the exhibition. It felt like I was living in a miniature cultural festival," shared Thuy Linh (from Hanoi).

The performing arts area also features performances of traditional musical instruments, water puppetry, Then singing, and Tinh lute playing. These cultural glimpses help the public, especially young people, to get closer to a treasure trove of heritage that is often considered to be "niche" and not widely appreciated.
Another highlight was the Vietnamese Cinema booth. The digital film studio, with its motion capture technology, green screen, and virtual reality (VR), captivated many young people, allowing them to immerse themselves in the experience and transform into characters from historical dramas or cartoons.

In addition, the mini cinema continuously screens 50 representative works, ranging from revolutionary films such as "Dao, Pho and Piano" and "Hong Ha Nu Si" to box office "blockbusters" like "Mat Biec," "Cua Lai Vo Bau," and "Tiec Trang Mau."
Pham Nhat Long, a student at Hanoi Law University, excitedly said: “This is the first time I’ve been able to watch a film and meet the actors in the same space. This helps the audience understand more about the filmmaking process and feel more proud of Vietnamese cinema.”
Beyond performing arts and cinema, booths dedicated to advertising, architecture, handicrafts, fashion , publishing, design, and entertainment also offer a comprehensive perspective. Each exhibition booth is designed as a "piece" in the cultural flow from tradition to modernity, affirming the power of the cultural industry in shaping the national brand.

Endogenous driving force behind Vietnam's aspiration for a strong and prosperous nation.
According to Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong, dedicating a separate space to 12 cultural industries at the National Achievements Exhibition demonstrates the special attention of the Party and the State to this field. The exhibition not only reflects achievements but also shows development trends, creating social awareness of the strategic role of the cultural industry.
The list of 12 Vietnamese cultural industries includes: Advertising, Architecture, Software and Entertainment Games, Handicrafts, Design, Film, Publishing, Fashion, Performing Arts, Fine Arts - Photography - Exhibitions, Television and Radio Broadcasting, and Cultural Tourism. This is a rich creative ecosystem that both preserves traditional values and exploits the potential of the modern market.

People's Artist Tong Toan Thang, Director of the Vietnam Circus Federation, affirmed: "Artists always aspire to transform creativity into economic value, contributing to the enrichment of the country. With the right direction, the cultural industry will provide further motivation for artists to dedicate themselves, and for Vietnamese culture to spread to international friends."
Chairman of the Vietnam Association for the Development of Cultural Industries, Vuong Duy Bien, also emphasized: “The quality of exhibits in many booths, especially in fine arts and performing arts, shows systematic investment. This is an opportunity to connect people, businesses, and artists to create momentum for the development of the cultural industry.”

Media expert Le Quoc Vinh believes that the presence of 12 cultural industries at the exhibition is "a comprehensive communication campaign for the Vietnamese brand." When these entities participate in promoting the country, national values will be enhanced, not only domestically but also internationally.
In fact, the development of the cultural industry is a global trend. In Vietnam, this sector has been gradually becoming an important service industry, contributing to sustainable growth, creating jobs, and enhancing the national brand value. In particular, exploiting "soft resources" not only complements the economy but also strengthens socio-cultural power, contributing to heritage preservation and promoting national identity.
The 2025 National Achievements Exhibition is therefore not only an opportunity to summarize the 80-year journey of construction and development, but also a strong affirmation that the 12 key cultural industries are the "gold mine" for Vietnam to break through and realize its aspiration to become a powerful nation in the 21st century.
