The 12th Nghia Trung Alumni Day, organized by the Nghia Trung Alumni Association in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces, took place in Ho Chi Minh City on the evening of May 28th. The program awarded many meaningful scholarships to students from Quang Ngai province studying in Ho Chi Minh City.
Students receive merit scholarships in the program.
Specifically, the program awarded 21 scholarships to students from Nghia Trung Secondary School (Nghia Trung commune, Tu Nghia district, Quang Ngai province). This 12th edition of the program included three types of scholarships: talent encouragement scholarships, academic encouragement scholarships, and scholarships for first-year students (worth 3-5 million VND per scholarship).
Scholarships are awarded based on students' academic performance in the most recent semester or their university entrance exam scores. However, before applying for the scholarship program, students need to write an essay on a given topic each year.
In its 12th year, the theme is reflections on the "Beautiful Road in Nghia Trung" competition – a contest held as part of the new rural development movement in Nghia Trung commune in July 2022.
