Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics aims to train 3,000 CEOs

On October 11, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) launched the UEH CEO Program, a training initiative aimed at enhancing leadership and management capacity to restructure Vietnamese enterprises through the integration of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation.

The program aims to train 3,000 CEOs, entrepreneurs and next-generation leaders in enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring localities in the 2025-2030 period, contributing to the implementation of Resolution 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on private economic development.

At the same time, it meets the development orientation of Ho Chi Minh City to become the leading economic , financial and innovation center in the region.

“UEH CEO Program not only provides knowledge, but also inspires each leader to understand themselves, innovate their thinking and make breakthroughs with the business,” said Professor, Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong, Chairman of the UEH Council for the 2020-2025 term.

The UEH CEO Program is designed around three pillars: Understanding Yourself - Innovation - Breakthrough. Accordingly, the program helps students improve their leadership capacity and clearly identify the competitive landscape.

Focus on transformation strategy, technology management, human resources, marketing and digital value to create space for students to restructure organizations and lead change in businesses.

At the same time, through the capstone project, students have the opportunity to build and implement practical projects to develop sustainable businesses, integrate internationally and create outstanding growth value.

Through application projects and an ecosystem connecting students, experts and businesses, the program expects 70% of students to successfully implement start-up projects or business restructuring projects.
