At this year's Golden Kite Awards ceremony, the Television Film Production Center (VFC) of Vietnam Television achieved resounding success. Besides "Mother Straw," the film "Are You a Man?" also won numerous awards. Specifically, director Trinh Le Phong's film received the Silver Kite Award in the television drama category, as well as awards for Best Director, Best Cinematography, and Best Supporting Actress.
In the Science Film and Documentary Film categories, Vietnam Television also won many top awards.
In both the Science Film and Documentary Film categories, Vietnam Television (VTV) also won many prestigious awards. For Science Film, the film "Black Hole," produced by the Documentary Film Center of Vietnam Television, received the Golden Kite Award. The team behind the film "Plastic Pollution: A Problem of the Present and the Future" received the Silver Kite Award. In addition, director Trinh Quang Bach also received an individual award for his work on "Black Hole."
In the Documentary category, Vietnam Television (VTV) won 1 Gold award for the film "Trap" (Digital Content Production and Development Center); 1 Silver award for the film "Road to Peace" (VTV Central and Central Highlands Regional Center - VTV8); and 1 individual award was given to director Doan Hong Le for the film "Road to Peace".
The Golden Kite Award is an annual award of the Vietnam Film Association aimed at summarizing creative activities over the past year, honoring outstanding works, and recognizing the contributions and creative efforts of artists. 2023 marks the 20th anniversary of the Golden Kite Award.
