Dak Lak: Quang Phu Commune builds 8 durian growing area codes for export, aiming at the international market

DNVN - The People's Committee of Quang Phu commune said that up to now, the locality has successfully built 8 durian growing areas with codes with a total area of ​​over 150 hectares, marking an important step in increasing the value and expanding the export market for this specialty fruit.

According to Dak Lak Newspaper, the growing area codes are currently owned by Mr. Pham Quang Manh (residential group 8), Mr. Nguyen Van Su (village 4) and Sen Viet Investment Trading and Service Company Limited. It is expected that the total durian output harvested from these 8 growing areas in 2025 will reach more than 3,400 tons, supplying domestic and foreign markets.

In order to meet the strict standards of the international market, the People's Committee of Quang Phu commune has coordinated with specialized agencies to promote management and improve the quality of growing areas. Local authorities regularly disseminate the meaning of growing area codes and packing facility codes in the export supply chain, and widely disseminate requirements on plant quarantine and food safety according to the regulations of the importing country so that growers and packing facilities strictly comply.

At the same time, the commune also guides the owners of growing areas and packaging facilities to check for pesticide residues and heavy metals such as amber and cadmium; fully record production records and chemicals used to serve the work of tracing the origin of the products. Through monitoring work, durian growing areas in Quang Phu all ensure compliance with regulations on safety, traceability, have clear cultivation logs and effective pest management programs.
