Thai Nguyen Central Hospital Party Committee: Leaders exceeded many targets

In 2024, under the leadership and guidance of the Party Committee, the collective of cadres, doctors, and staff of Thai Nguyen Central Hospital united and successfully completed their political tasks and assigned plan targets.

Comrade Nguyen Cong Hoang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Hospital, presented awards to Party members who excellently fulfilled their duties in 2024.

During the year, the Party Committee of the Hospital admitted 37 new party members (exceeding the Resolution target by 102%), bringing the total number of party members to 743, organized into 50 subordinate branches. The activities of the branches were maintained regularly, constantly improving in quality and innovating in their methods.

In its professional work, the Hospital Party Committee has led and directed the successful completion and exceeding of targets for medical examination and treatment. Compared to 2023, the results of inpatient and outpatient treatment increased by 4-17.7%; the average length of stay decreased from 7.8 days to 7 days; the bed occupancy rate exceeded the actual number of beds by 12.3%; periodic health check-ups exceeded the target by over 45%; and laboratory testing activities increased by 6-18%.

In 2024, the hospital implemented 203 new technical services and requested health insurance reimbursement for 128 new technical services for health insurance patients. The hospital's quality score reached 4.22 points.

In Decision No. 56/QD-BYT dated January 6, 2025, the Ministry of Health adjusted the hospital's operating license, increasing its capacity by 400 beds (from 1,300 to 1,700 planned beds, and 2,050 actual beds); the hospital is the only medical facility in the province and the Northern Midlands and Mountainous region that meets the criteria to be classified as a specialized medical facility...

With the achievements in leadership and guidance in carrying out professional tasks, in 2024, the Party Committee of Thai Nguyen Central Hospital was classified as "Party Committee that excellently completed its tasks"; 10 Party branches and 135 Party members were classified as "Excellently completed their tasks"; and there were no Party branches or Party members who violated regulations and were disciplined...

In 2025, the Party Committee of the Hospital is determined to effectively implement the resolutions of the Party and higher-level Party committees; and to make good preparations for the 17th Party Congress of the Hospital, for the term 2025-2030.
