Offering incense in gratitude and meeting with former Youth Volunteers in difficult circumstances

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Tradition Day of the Vietnam Youth Volunteer Force (July 15, 1950 - July 15, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Provincial Youth Volunteer Veterans Association (2005 - 2025), on July 15, the Provincial Youth Volunteer Veterans Association held a ceremony to offer incense, meet and give gifts to former Youth Volunteers who had difficulties in mobilizing.

The delegation of the Provincial Youth Volunteer Veterans Association offered incense at the Ham Rong Victory Youth Volunteers Monument, the N21 Youth Volunteer Team Memorial - the place where the first Youth Volunteers unit of Thanh Hoa province was established, and the Memorial of 11 Youth Volunteers martyrs at Nap Mountain. These are red addresses and symbols of the Youth Volunteers force of Thanh Hoa province during the resistance war against French colonialism and American imperialism.

At the incense offering locations, the delegation expressed their respect and gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of their fallen comrades for the independence and freedom of the nation, vowing to continue to follow the example and worthy successor of the tradition of the heroic Thanh Hoa Youth Volunteer Force, determined to fulfill the targets set out in the Resolution of the 4th Congress of the Association of Former Youth Volunteers (2021-2026).

In the warm atmosphere of comradeship and comradeship, the Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers also organized a meeting with former key officials of the Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers. The delegates reviewed traditions, shared stories and memories of the resistance war and national construction period, and wished to pass on the revolutionary fire to today's young generation.

The Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers and the Thanh Hoa Caritas Charity Committee presented wheelchairs to members.

On this occasion, the Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers coordinated with Thanh Hoa Electricity Construction Joint Stock Company to present 100 gifts of gratitude to the Association's staff; Thanh Hoa Caritas Charity Committee presented 10 wheelchairs to members with mobility difficulties.
