In 2025, 17,439 candidates registered to take the Student Proficiency Test (SPT) organized by Hanoi University of Education. Of these, Mathematics had the highest number of registrations with 13,182 students. This was followed by Literature with 11,914 registrations and English with 9,186 registrations.

In the aptitude test organized by Hanoi University of Education, candidates can register to take the following subjects: Mathematics, Literature, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, and use the test results to apply for admission to regular undergraduate programs according to the requirements of each university.

Hanoi University of Education will announce the exam results for candidates to check on the university's admissions portal. Candidates will receive their exam results certificates directly at the university or via mail . Afterward, they should submit these certificates to higher education institutions that use SPT exam results for admissions.

Hanoi University of Education would like to remind candidates that the SPT exam results are only valid for admission to regular undergraduate programs in the 2025 admissions year.

To date, the results of the SPT exam are used by 25 higher education institutions nationwide for admission to regular undergraduate programs.
