Attending a shareholders' meeting, a person unexpectedly won 500 million VND

(NLĐO) - CII held a prize draw for shareholders attending the general meeting, in which Mr. Tran Ngoc Be won the top prize of 500 million VND.

At the extraordinary shareholders' meeting held on January 15th, Ho Chi Minh City Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company (CII) approved the investment plan for the Ho Chi Minh City - My Thuan expressway and the issuance of bonds worth 4,500 billion VND.

In particular, the company also organizes a prize draw for shareholders. Participants owned at least 1,000 CII shares. As a result, the grand prize, the highest value of 500 million VND, went to shareholder Tran Ngoc Be, while shareholder Nguyen Quoc Thai won the first prize worth 100 million VND.

Thirteen other shareholders won prizes including three iPhone 16 Pro Max phones and 10 gold bars. Notably, shareholders who attended, even those with only a few shares, received a 50,000 VND token of appreciation.

The CII technical infrastructure project has been implemented.

In fact, because shareholder meetings used to have low attendance, many meetings were unsuccessful. Therefore, some companies organize giveaways and prize draws to encourage shareholders to attend in full.

At the CII general meeting, shareholders approved a plan to adjust the dividend payment date for 2022 and the first installment of 2023 at a rate of 5% in cash.

The Congress also approved the investment plan for the expansion project of the Ho Chi Minh City - My Thuan expressway under the public-private partnership (PPP) model, and the plan to issue convertible bonds with a total issuance value of VND 4,500 billion.

CII has been involved in many important infrastructure projects. Among them, the expansion project of the Ho Chi Minh City - My Thuan expressway is one of CII's largest projects currently.

This project will be implemented by a consortium of CII – Deo Ca Group Joint Stock Company – Tasco Joint Stock Company. The pre-feasibility study report shows that the project will expand approximately 91 km of highway to 6-8 lanes with a total investment of nearly 38,700 billion VND.
