Students enjoy experiencing AI technology programming. With a series of experiential activities, creative competitions and sharing from experts, the AI Festival has made an important contribution to raising awareness of AI as well as arousing the passion for learning and exploring new technology for young people passionate about artificial intelligence. Coming to the event, Dam Khanh Ly, a student of class 10A10 specializing in IT, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, could not hide her curiosity and excitement. For the first time directly experiencing artificial intelligence application products, Khanh Ly said she was very impressed with the smart robot models and interactive technology games. "Participating in the festival, I was really impressed because I had access to many advanced technologies and new techniques. The most interesting thing for me was the opportunity to directly experience AI tools, to interact with experts and friends who share the same passion. I feel like the world of technology is opening up before my eyes" - Ly shared.
When asked about applying AI in learning, Dam Khanh Ly said: "Currently, I often use AI tools such as ChatGPT to support document lookup, text summary or practice solving exercises. In addition, I also use Canva to design posters and presentation slides for group lessons. These tools help me save time and make learning much more creative and attractive."

Young people enthusiastically participate in the experience at the Dien Bien Artificial Intelligence Festival 2025.
Like many other young people, Hoang Quoc Huy, a student at Thanh Chan Secondary School (Dien Bien District) actively experienced artificial intelligence technology at the AI Festival. With a passion for technology since childhood, Huy sees AI as a bridge to help students approach knowledge in a new, more flexible and creative way. Huy shared: "AI is not just a theory, but is really changing the way we study every day. I often use AI tools for experimental programming, creating mind maps... Through this event, I further realize the importance of proactively learning and researching to apply AI to study and life. I believe that, if used properly, AI will become a powerful companion of the young generation."
Not only students, the teaching staff in Dien Bien also showed a spirit of learning and proactively approaching new technology. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Hang, Chemistry teacher at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, said: "Participating in this AI Festival, I myself learned a lot of useful things. In teaching, I often use ChatGPT to refer to lecture content, search for practical examples and suggest activities for students. In particular, I have applied video links suggested by AI to illustrate chemical experiments, helping students visualize and access knowledge more easily. In addition, I also use music composition software or song lyrics creation software to help students memorize chemical knowledge: This is a very creative way for students to learn without feeling bored. From the beginning of the lesson to the knowledge consolidation part, you can all participate actively and have fun."
Youth Union members participate in applying AI technology to create content.
As the direct organizer of the event, Ms. Tran To Uyen, Country Director of STEAM for Vietnam, shared: "We hope that through this event, we can spread more strongly the application of AI in practical learning and teaching. AI not only helps teachers save time designing lessons, but also allows personalization of the learning process of each student from creating tests appropriate to their abilities to supporting weaker students to progress faster." According to Ms. Uyen, AI will not replace the role of teachers, but will become a useful "assistant", accompanying teachers on the journey of educational innovation.
Not only stopping at experiential activities, the AI Festival in Dien Bien is also a symbol of the province's strong political determination in making modern technology one of the driving forces to promote educational innovation, economic development and improve the quality of life for the people. Speaking at the event, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Bien province Le Thanh Do affirmed: Right on the land that once marked the victory "famous in five continents, shaking the earth", today we together start a new "big battle" in the digital age. With that spirit, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee, I respectfully announce the launch of the "Dien Bien Phu Campaign - AI Journey" across the province...
From a practical perspective at the event, it can be seen that AI is creating profound changes in education and social awareness. Students have access to modern learning tools, developing critical thinking and creativity. Teachers are empowered by new technology platforms, reducing the pressure of lesson preparation and increasing teaching efficiency. The community is more strongly connected through the spirit of continuous learning and knowledge sharing. Based on that reality, in the coming time, the province will continue to implement training programs and foster digital skills for teachers, students and people. The goal is that by 2026, 100% of adults will have basic knowledge of digitalization, ready to actively participate in the digital economy.
Many young people enjoyed experiencing AI technology at the booths. The AI Festival in Dien Bien is not simply a technology event, but an affirmation that even in remote and mountainous areas where conditions are still limited, the learning and development opportunities for the young generation are always open if there is support from the government, schools and society. In the digital age, the space for creativity is limitless and Dien Bien is bravely taking the first steps to give the young generation the key to the future./.
