Adjusting and supplementing the medium-term public investment plan for the 2021-2025 period

On the afternoon of March 14th, the 24th session of the 16th term of the Hai Phong City People's Council approved a Resolution to adjust and supplement the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025.

Hai Phong has decided to allocate over 707 billion VND from the city's budget for the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025 to several tasks and projects. Of this amount, Hai Phong is supplementing over 96 billion VND for Cat Hai district to implement the project to build, renovate, and expand Dong Bai ferry terminal, Cai Vieng ferry terminal, and related supporting facilities.

Hai Phong also decided to supplement the capital plan for two completed projects with a total of 12.632 billion VND, including: the Technical Infrastructure Project for the Expanded Resettlement Area in Dong Khe Ward, Ngo Quyen District (11.573 billion VND); and the Investment Project for the Construction and Upgrading of the Hai Phong Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (1.059 billion VND).

The delegates unanimously agreed to supplement the capital plan for two projects to be implemented in two planning periods (2021-2025 and 2026-2030) with 594.877 billion VND. Of this amount, the project to invest in the construction of Ring Road 2, section Tan Vu – Hung Dao – Bui Vien Street, will receive an additional 454.877 billion VND; and the project to invest in the construction of the Headquarters of the Hai Phong City Military Command/Military Region 3 will receive an additional 140 billion VND.

In addition, Hai Phong also decided to supplement the capital plan for investment preparation tasks with 3,718 billion VND for 3 projects: Project to improve rainwater drainage capacity in Trung Luc, Luc Hanh, and Nguyen Don areas (Dang Lam ward, Hai An district); Project to harden the An Kim Hai canal section from Lach Tray road to Vo Nguyen Giap road; Project to invest in the construction of a road from the North Cam River Urban Area to the VSIP Industrial Park road to Vu Yen island.
