VinFast car prices will be effective from March 1, 2025.
Immediately after announcing the discontinuation of the electric car sales program bundled with batteries, VinFast dealerships announced price adjustments for all VinFast models currently sold on the market in March 2025.

The models included in this discount offer are VinFast VF 3, VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9. Discounts range from 23 to 181 million VND, depending on the model and version.
The VinFast VF 3 is currently being offered at 299 million VND, a decrease of 23 million VND compared to the listed price at the beginning of January 2025. The A-segment SUV model - the VinFast VF 5 - has also adjusted its price down to 529 million VND, 11 million VND lower than before.
Similarly, the VinFast VF 6 saw a price adjustment of 21 million VND, now ranging from 689 to 749 million VND depending on the version. The VinFast VF 7 experienced a price adjustment of 50-55 million VND. Currently, the three VF 7 versions – Eco, Plus (steel roof), and Plus (glass roof) – are priced at 799 million VND, 949 million VND, and 969 million VND respectively.
For the VinFast VF 8 D-segment SUV, a price adjustment of 100-101 million VND brings the price down from 1,120-1,299 million VND to 1,019-1,199 million VND.
VinFast's top-of-the-line model, the VF 9, has seen the most significant price adjustment, with a maximum reduction of 181 million VND. The new retail price for the Eco version is 1,499 million VND, while the Plus version costs 1,699 million VND.
VinFast will officially start selling cars bundled with batteries from March 2025.
From March 2025, all VinFast electric cars sold on the market will come with a battery included, instead of being leased as before. Although the battery leasing option is no longer available, the current price of cars with batteries included is much more attractive, especially for the VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9 models.
According to information from dealers, the free charging policy at Vingroup 's charging stations continues to apply to vehicles purchased with a battery. Notably, the free charging period has been extended until the end of 2027, instead of only until June 30, 2027 as previously planned. This helps customers not only save on battery rental costs but also avoid paying for charging. For those currently using leased vehicles, VinFast allows them to switch to purchasing batteries for an additional fee.
In addition, the government's policy of 100% registration fee support for electric vehicles will end in March 2025, after which it will be reduced to 50%. However, the Ministry of Finance has proposed extending the 100% registration fee exemption for electric vehicles until February 28, 2027.
If this policy continues, the on-the-road price of VinFast vehicles, including the battery, will be very competitive compared to gasoline/diesel vehicles in the same segment. For example, the VF 7 costs 799 million VND, while the Mazda CX-5 costs 749 million VND, but after adding registration fees, the total cost could exceed 820 million VND. Similarly, the VF 9 starts at 1.499 billion VND, while the Hyundai Palisade – although slightly smaller – costs 1.469 billion VND, but after registration fees, the total cost will not be less than 1.61 billion VND.
These adjustments will help make VinFast electric vehicles a more economical option for customers in the future.
