Investigation into car explosion that injured a woman in Ho Chi Minh City

On May 14th, the District 12 Police are coordinating with other professional units of the Ho Chi Minh City Police to investigate a car explosion that seriously injured a 45-year-old woman from Ba Ria Vung Tau.

Earlier, on the afternoon of May 13th, residents in an alley in Thanh Xuan ward, District 12, Ho Chi Minh City, heard a loud explosion. They rushed to investigate and discovered a car engulfed in thick smoke, so they helped extinguish the fire. A woman who was injured and trapped inside the car was rescued by residents and taken to the hospital.

Upon receiving the report, the District 12 Police, in coordination with other professional units of the Ho Chi Minh City Police, examined the scene and collected samples for analysis to determine the cause.

Initially, police determined that the victim lived with the man in a rented room near the scene.
