On July 9th, the Gia Lai Provincial Department of Health issued a decision to suspend the operation of Phuong Dat Multi-Specialty Clinic (Quy Nhon Ward) due to its failure to ensure sufficient practicing personnel commensurate with the scope and scale of its licensed operations.
This decision remains in effect until the clinic rectifies the deficiencies and is permitted to resume operations by the Department of Health.

Previously, Phuong Dat Polyclinic was the subject of a social media complaint from a citizen who reported being charged nearly 9 million VND for a relative's examination in just two hours.
However, Ms. Duyen, a representative of the clinic, denied the "price gouging" allegations, explaining that the fee of over 8 million VND was the cost for a committed one-month treatment plan.
Ms. Duyen also stated that afterwards, a person claiming to be a patient's family member came and caused a disturbance, preventing the patient from continuing treatment and filming and taking photos, forcing the clinic to call the local police to resolve the situation.
