Rush to register business households to teach extra classes

(NLDO) - Many people may be asked by teachers to register their business households to organize extra classes when Circular 29/2024 of the Ministry of Education and Training comes into effect.

On February 13, dozens of people came to Department 1 of the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City (Dak Lak Province) to complete the procedures to register their business households in the education sector when Circular 29 of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) takes effect tomorrow (February 14).

A business registration certificate for the field of tutoring and extra learning

Ms. TTH (residing in Buon Ma Thuot City) said that she graduated from a university of education but could not find a job. She admitted that she registered her business to help a teacher teach extra classes according to Circular 29 of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Similarly, Mr. NNT (residing in Buon Ma Thuot City) also registered a business to help his younger brother and a friend organize extra classes in Tan Loi Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City.

An officer at the one-stop department of the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City said that on the morning of February 13 alone, they received more than 50 applications, of which more than 90% were business registrations in the education sector.

According to Mr. Le Dinh Duong, Deputy Head of the Planning and Finance Department of Buon Ma Thuot City, from December 2024 to now, the unit has granted licenses to more than 300 business registration certificates for other unclassified education sectors (details: Extra teaching and extra learning).

In addition, the number of files received and being processed is also nearly 100 sets, most of which are in the field of education. For individuals who have been granted a business household certificate, the unit must sign a commitment to comply with the provisions of the law.

"Many people come to register their business in the field of tutoring and extra learning but do not fully understand the legal regulations. They think that having a business registration certificate means they can immediately organize tutoring and extra learning. Therefore, we guide them to continue to carry out other procedures or they will be severely punished" - Mr. Duong informed.
